The Rogue Warriors Paintball Team
The Rogue Warriors is a scenario paintball team playing not just for recreation but for pride and practice of skills and strategy. They follow the strategies and teachings of Richard Marcinko who belongs to Seal Team Two, Seal Team Six and the Red Cell fame. The Rogue Warriors though do no claim to be as great as the Seals, but their goal is to strive to reach the same level of skill and expertise that makes the Seal Team considered as one of the best elite fighting paintball force around the globe. In fact, in their website, there is a section that they pay tribute for the Seal Warriors.
Like how the far eastern philosophy says, the Rogue Warriors try not to follow suit the masters of the paintball world, but to go after and learn what they taught. Just recently, the team came from a First Strike Paintball competition where they participated in the “Pauley’s Rangers”. The competition was composed of Germans and Americans competing under a scenario based paintball game in North Africa. The Rogue Warriors played for the Germans and was awarded the Most Valuable Team recognition.
The team was formed in 1994 and was known to be just active in scenario and recreational paintball only. They are usually spotted in any of Wayne Dollack’s 24-hour role playing scenario games in Florida. They were also given the chance to participate in one of the virtual wargames’ scenario games at the Mout Site in Camp Blanding. They have a long list of well noted awards and recognitions which included the most recent mentioned already above.
Other awards include Most Valued Team for Bloodlines in October of 2007, Most Valuable Team Award in 2005, Best Sportsmanship Award in 2004, Outstanding Team Effort Trophy in 2001, and many others more. See their team website.
