Start a Paintball Field Business
Hands down this is the best article on starting a paintball field. It details everything you know to get your business going and then some. There are a number of guides and books you can buy on this subject, but why pay for one when a quick look online can give you all the information you need for free?
I found a very reclusive source that is written by a present field owner with loads of business experience, and no this isn't the same information you can find on PbNation in the field owners forum, this is better.
This field owner wrote the entire guide out of sheer kindness. He took the time to detail the things he learned through is experiences in starting a paintball field so you could benefit from it.

I used to have all this info drafted out, but that was some time ago. It will take some time to do the research but I’ll try to write up a financial estimate and post it to the site sometime soon.
Yeah. Its great. But it would be nice to see more of a money break down. Something that shows how much businesses are spending on outdoor fields for taxes. how much they pay to upkeep the fields and also the amounts brocken down for indoor.
Everything from insurance to breakdown of taxes that goes to the government from rental fee’s and other things. I can’t seem to find that anywhere.
If you need any info on building a field send me a email . I can tell you some do’s and don’ts that I wish I knew before building a field .
First off my email is guysspecialtyplus@yahoo.com if anyone has any questions on anything. I’m just going to tell you straight forward if you make calls to allot of different places and ask questions on starting a field you are going to be recommended allot of things you really don’t need to just get your money or just the brands the offer etc . Do your own research learn from other peoples mistakes and save your self allot of headaches and money . First off for poles I would recommend telephone poles over anything for poles just go used you can find around $1.00 a foot . If you can not get used telephone poles I would go with 6×6′s at the min, I was recommended to use 4×4′s and that was the worst mistake I had ever made over $5000.00 later when a storm came through and destroyed the field . For netting I would recommend alpha netting and if just starting a field to see how everything is going to work out I would just go with the Alpha Standard paintball netting website http://www.paintballnetting.com , they are great and easy to work with will do custom cuts just call or what ever you need and they offer the best price I found . I also just used zip ties around a inch apart to hold the netting on the cable with out any issues bought in bulk off ebay in 1000 zip tie bags would buy in black they are more UV resistant . The netting clips are much easier to use . For compressor I would recommend Nuvair http://www.nuvair.com I would give them a call give them your price range and your goals they are very easy to work with . Rental paintball guns I would recommend the Piranha GTI myself for the money and easy maintenance or tippmans if money is not a issue for a rental fleet also on the Piranha GTI send me a email if you need help getting these . Now paint balls is a big one everyone is going to recommend there paint for you to buy and some of the prices on paint balls are just crazy if you ask me . I would recommend Karnage paint balls out of Springfield Mo and let them know I sent you Guys Specialty Plus the best line of paint balls I have seen and the best price I have found and Scott is very easy to work with phone number 417-866-8858 also website http://www.karnagepaintballs.com .
