Spool Valve Paintball Guns

In paintball there are many elusive technical terms, and no matter how many times your friends try to explain them to you, or how many times you've read through material online digging for an answer, the definition just gets away from you. One of these terms is Spool Valve - a type of operating platform for paintball guns like the DM4 and Matrix.
Rather than me rewriting a description that already is perfect the way it is, I'll point you to an article that will tell you not only what a Spool Valve is, but how it works, the drawbacks, and the benefits of having a paintball gun that uses a spool valve.
