Paintball Positions: Front, Mid and Back
July 15, 2008
Rob Rubin, author of a couple paintball books and writer for Splat Magazines Tyger's Den, as well as creator of countless helpful paintball videos, has a pretty decent video walkthrough of the front, mid and back player positions on the paintball field. For more on paintball positions, check out my article on the back player paintball position.
A short list of some of the jobs and qualifications the front, mid, and back players will need to do/have:
Front - get as far up the field as needed, work for angles, should be small and fast, near flag.
Back - Eyes and ears, cover advances, prevent movement, eliminate movers, shoots most.
Mid - Versatile, move to kill, cover advances, work angles.
