Glow in the Dark Paintballs and Nightime Paintball Gear
This is one of the coolest ideas to hit paintball. If you've played in the night I'm sure you were among those who were excited when the first boxes of glow in the dark paintballs hit stores.
How do glow in the dark paintballs work? A UV light is used to charge the paintballs and give them a bright healthy glow. Without a light source you might as well be using normal paintballs. UV lights are the best.
There are a couple types of tools you can use to light up glow in the dark paintballs. You can use either a specialized hopper such as the UV Ricochet, a feedneck depending on which paintball gun you shoot, or a UV light contraption that goes onto the end of your barrel. Whats the best one you may ask? Well, it depends on how much money you want to spend. Obviously, the longer the lightsource is on the paintball the brighter it should shine, so a hopper would be best. However, I've heard the feedneck and barrel adapter work fine, so its really just up to you.

What brands of glow in the dark paintballs are out there? You can find a couple of brands of nightime paintballs, of which the most popular are Diablo Dark Legion, and Kryptonite paintballs. A case of Dark Legion and Kryptonite paintballs can be had for $70. A cheaper alternative I've found is one you can find on eBay, which is called TracerBalls, which can be bought at about $50 a case if you buy in bulk. You can find them in the listings below.

I was just wondering where abouts you purchase the glow in the dark paintballs from?
Glow in the dark is all well and good, but…..
I got kids going through my cars at night, and getting into my backyard, I’ve got cameras up, but no luck on a licence plate yet. Which prompts this question:
How do I get my hands on Paintballs with UV dye?? Like the bank bag dye bombs…..
That is the same reason I was researching this Powers. I was looking to go a little non-lethal vigilante myself. So far they’ve only targeted items left outside and unlocked vehicles, but there’s been over 100 reported incidents over the summer in my neighborhood, and NO police action.
