We play monster balls because we don’t have 60 bucks to spend on paintballs. Stop crying like a baby and blaming it on the balls. Yea they are harder than other balls, but if you didn’t suck so much, you wouldn’t have gotten that head shot. Maybe you should re-chrono the guy who pegged you in the head. He was obviously shooting way too hot.
The guy in the vid is Mike from TechPb.com, he has more vids on youtube.
I can see both sides; 1) monsterballs are cheap, not everyone can afford $60 paintballs, AND… 2) monsterballs are extremely hard, and may not be the safest paint for speedball.
I’d say if it is your field, go for it, use whatever paint you want, but the fact of the matter is there is a third side to this, and that’s the field owners side, the side that has to think about the safety of players. If I were a field owner I probably wouldn’t want to have a potentially dangerous paint being slung around, one that could possibly shatter a mask lens from close range.
Granted, you could probably jump on a bag of RPS Marbalizers and see the same result, but one thing you don’t see paintball fields doing is using marbalizers on their speedball fields.
Just a thought.
