Now, this doesn't make them necessarily illegal, but you have to go through the process you would have to go through to own a silencer for a firearm. If you don't believe me about the BATF ruling, when I first started playing paintball, you could buy a silencer at a paintball store. Try finding one now. The only ones that are allowed now are the ones that you see built into barrels that are threaded for paintball guns. Now, in order to get around the BATFs ruling, you could modify the video by substituting a drilled barrel, like an All-American, for the drilled pipe and then modify the sediment filter to fit the barrel. The BATF couldn't tell you to not use it because they would have to outlaw filters in general and they can't do that.....................yet.
