just gonna say, paintball silencers are illegal if they actually dampen the noise of your marker. 99% of the silencers on the market are just cosmetic.
Thanks Jerry for letting me know, I did not know that.
I guess I better add this then:

Its a pretty lame law
wrong wrong wrong wrong!!!!!!! you can do whatever you want to a paintball gun because it isnt a real gun!!!! people are spreading rumors!!! dont listen to peoples comments and look it up for your self!! you wont find a single federal law that restricts supressor on anything but real guns!
I’m sorry to inform you Zack that the BATF has declared that paintball silencers could be attached to real guns and therefore have to be treated as “real” silencers. Now, this doesn’t make them necessarily illegal, but you have to go through the process you would have to go through to own a silencer for a firearm. If you don’t believe me about the BATF ruling, when I first started playing paintball, you could buy a silencer at a paintball store. Try finding one now. The only ones that are allowed now are the ones that you see built into barrels that are threaded for paintball guns. Now, in order to get around the BATFs ruling, you could modify the video by substituting a drilled barrel, like an All-American, for the drilled pipe and then modify the sediment filter to fit the barrel. The BATF couldn’t tell you to not use it because they would have to outlaw filters in general and they can’t do that…………………yet.
