Dye C9 and Proto 09 Paintball Jerseys
These jerseys are about as packed full with features as the DLX Luxe... ok, so maybe not as much as a Luxe, but they still rock some tight features.
Both the C9 and Proto 09 jerseys are extremely similar, the Proto 09 jersey may be cheaper, but its still about the same thing. The only difference I can distinguish is the looks, but if your a Dye fan and you like the Dye brand then more power to you, I'll let you pay $15 more while I save money and get the same thing with a Proto 09 jersey.
What makes Dye and Proto jerseys so great is the integrated padding and the no-slip "DyeTack" spots on the armpit area for your paintball tank. They updated the padding and venting in the C9 and 09 Proto jerseys, so you can expect these jerseys to fit better, protect you better, and keep you cooler.
One of the newer features Dye jerseys and Proto jerseys are sporting today are the thumb holes in the cuff of each sleeve. Since many players are cutting off the fingers on their paintball gloves it made sense for them to integrate "fingerless gloves" into the sleeves of their jerseys. This not only offers protection for your hands, but also keeps the sleeves from riding up during games.
Now the only question left to answer is how much these jerseys cost. The Proto 09 jersey is currently retailing for a cool $49.95, while Dye C9 jerseys are priced at $65.95. For me its a no brainer to go for a Proto 09 over a Dye C9, its cheaper, looks cooler IMHO, and comes with most of the same features.
