By November of the same year, they participated in Vosrt, Brussels for a paintball tournament that was held to promote the paintball sport in Belgium.
When the following year of 2003 came, the Graffiti paintball team came up with a new captain in the name of Frank Bodart. As the team go through rigid activities each day, their bond became stronger as well. The need to have a stronger bond was needed for them to face the challenge of the 7 man Ludika tournament in Ciney. As a team, they are fully convinced that joining various competitions would give them bigger rooms for improvement in honing their paintball skills and knowledge.

By June 14th of 2003, they started receiving accolades like the most fair play award by the Vlaamse Paintball League. To have women in their team was something that also made them edgy over their competitors. By June 28th of the same year, they decided to have a 3 man team composed of females. They were called the Graffiti Chicks and one of the girls even became the first Belgian female team captain.

In 2005, Graffiti became officially sponsored by the Empire. By year 2006, they got the Smarts Ion Sponsorship, with Empire sponsoring their gear and with Diablo for paint sponsorship deal. A few of their well-noted awards and recognitions came in 2004, with them acquiring the Snaphoots Trophee. The competition lasted for two days and the Graffiti Paintball team ended in 13th place out of a total number of 63 teams, making them a qualifier as a Pro team. They also participated in the VPL tour of 2004 and the Soultakers Cup 2004.

The two were playing woodsball in Mersey Road Paintball in East River, Nova Scotia. They overheard a talk from a few speedballers about a rookie tournament that is about to come up by the end of that same month. The players were laughing at the idea of any speedballer winning such a tournament or even just having the guts to enter such. But this became a serious matter for the two men. Hence, they decided to enter the tournament and face the great challenge.

Since that day of July 2005, the Tippinators Paintball team grew to a total of 18 members and has played throughout the entirety of the North Eastern part of US and the Eastern section of Canada. The ripples of success that they have created lapped into a sea of sponsors who were running after being associated with the team’s determination and success. The Tippinators Paintball Team were famous not just for their elegant sportsmanship but with how they view the paintball sport as something that is worthy of fun and experience.

At present, the Tippinators Paintball Team continues to bring great impact to other paintball teams around the world. Their fun loving hearts simply love the art of paintball and every type and style the sport may offer, whether that would be woodsball, recball, xball or speedball. They are usually seen playing every Sunday at Mersey Road Paintball. After their rookie success in 2008 for xball, they are now renewing their franchise and will be competing in the Xball league of Canda. The team believes that their simple mission of having fun and making new friends is enough to make them always be ahead of their own game and of their rivals.

The Rogue Warriors though do no claim to be as great as the Seals, but their goal is to strive to reach the same level of skill and expertise that makes the Seal Team considered as one of the best elite fighting paintball force around the globe. In fact, in their website, there is a section that they pay tribute for the Seal Warriors.

Like how the far eastern philosophy says, the Rogue Warriors try not to follow suit the masters of the paintball world, but to go after and learn what they taught. Just recently, the team came from a First Strike Paintball competition where they participated in the “Pauley’s Rangers”. The competition was composed of Germans and Americans competing under a scenario based paintball game in North Africa. The Rogue Warriors played for the Germans and was awarded the Most Valuable Team recognition.

The team was formed in 1994 and was known to be just active in scenario and recreational paintball only. They are usually spotted in any of Wayne Dollack’s 24-hour role playing scenario games in Florida. They were also given the chance to participate in one of the virtual wargames’ scenario games at the Mout Site in Camp Blanding. They have a long list of well noted awards and recognitions which included the most recent mentioned already above.

Other awards include Most Valued Team for Bloodlines in October of 2007, Most Valuable Team Award in 2005, Best Sportsmanship Award in 2004, Outstanding Team Effort Trophy in 2001, and many others more. See their team website.

Hence, this led them to paintball on hold for the meantime.

A few years later, Paintball was revived in Scotland and the Cameronians came back to fight again in tournaments by year 1997 striving to once again be the best amongst UK competitors. The paintball scene arrived a bit furious to the team with the long time of rest that they took. It was one heck of a challenge when suddenly they were seeing flying pellets and fast paced speedways. But each and every challenge posed was met due to the team’s determination and amazing pride. They upgraded their kits and threw themselves to numerous other competitions so they can start gaining back the name of being one of the best and at the same time consider all the tournaments as rigid training and practice.

The Cameronians finally changed their name to CLAN by 1990. They continued competing for the UK Masters in the higher divisions, including the World Cup, Millenium events and even the PA League which they were promoted to Division 1 in 2006. The Clan Paintball Team is certainly threatening to their rivals and known to be the best Paintball team in the whole of Scotland. But their desire for accomplishment will not end there.

The team is consistently getting revved up to do some action at the PA X-Ball League and other global events like the NPPL, where the group is the first Scottish team to compete in such a tournament.

This unification let to the formation of a greater and more effective paintball team which is now called Team Supreme. The Team FAD, which was also known as Fast and Deadly was a consistent champion team since the year 2001. By year 2003, they wanted to expand their horizons and build up more of their roster to be able to divert their complete focus on paintball tournaments.

They successfully did this when they merged with a new team called Sweet Anarchy which consists of younger players who still needs a lot of development but carries a lot of potential when it comes to the sport. With all these changes coming in for both teams, they have given birth to Team Supreme.

In the early time of 2006, Team Supreme gathered core players of Team Immortals having to shift and expand their usual roster of five men to a bigger 7-men group. They believed that this would be a great move to compete better during European and Greek events.

To date, Team Supreme’s biggest achievements would include winning the Hellenic Paintball Series for 3 consecutive years, from 2006 to 2008, the Paintball Master Series in 2005, and being second in Division 2 of the 2006 Centurio’s final leg.

Team Supreme is a fully committed and dedicated paintball team in Athens. They hold the goal of representing themselves the best way they can in various competitions so that they can help increase public awareness in their homeland. In 2009, they are looking forward to winning the Paintball Super League and all 3 legs of the Hellenic Paintball Championship in Greece. They will also be competing in 5 events of the Millenium Series Division 2 for team promotion to Division 1 by 2010.

Throughout their competitions, they were supported by their leading sponsors like Velocity Paintball Park, Dye Precision, San Diego Web Designs and WPN Paintballs.

The Turbulence of Velocity Paintball Team carries the leading objective of promoting paintball as a new sport to both amateur and expert players. As a team, they have and consistently been striving to improve and establish their team to be always one of the best teams in every tournament and division that they compete on. They are known for regularly practicing and training around two to three times a week. They also see their constant participation in both national and local tournaments as a great and effective way for them to improve and be better over time.

This San Diego paintball team is also taken with such high regard for their mission to not just be good paintball players but to become a good example and positive influence to others, especially for the younger generations. They take pride in establishing positive and solid relationships with other paintball teams and they always see to it that they observe proper on and off field ethics.

Each of their members comes from dynamic and diversified backgrounds. Their team is a good combination of businessmen, students, Internet Marketers and other professionals. They may come from a variety of worlds, but they act as one once they reach the paintball field. With this positive attitude that they carry as a group, they are able to stick to their commitment of portraying a well-enhanced image for their sponsors and their own selves.

With their already existing camaraderie, it was not hard for them to work effectively as a team and become one of Chicago’s highly esteemed teams in the realm of scenario paintball. Their being hailed as the “General’s Team” remains unbeatable.

By the end of 2006, the members who started it all passed the paintball legacy to the next generation who share the same passion on paintball. Even after twelve long years, the same spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, camaraderie and character exists in the team of Saints Scenario Paintball. They are welcoming everyone in all ages, skill levels, abilities and commitment to the paintball world.

For the rest of the years 2007 and 2008, the Saints spent most of their time at CPX sports in Joliet and trained their skills by competing with other elite scenario teams like Ground Control, the Chi Town Hustlers, Hellions and Team Fugazi. Majority of these competitions were won by the Saints taking home with them the Scenario/Big Game awards.

Saints scenario paintball team focuses on persistence in doing something and doing it above the average. This is how they perceive scenario/big game style paintball games should be played. At present, their utmost goal is to strive being a consistent scenario paintball team which makes an impact in every event they participate in.

If you are interested to join the team you can visit their homepage for more info. They offer membership without any dues or requirements set on attendance. But of course, those who would show more passion, interest and commitment would be the only ones to be given special roles and characters during the event.

If you have a website, then congratulations your halfway there, now all your team needs to do is treat your team's website as an extension of the team, and freely share it with the entire paintball community. You'd be surprised at how many people visit paintball team websites, and how very few know how to make money with them. The more exposure, the more valuable your team is to sponsors.

If you want to check out some examples of paintball teams using the internet to help attract sponsors and make some extra cash then check out these two teams, Wolfpack and The Brotherhood. One team uses CafePress to sell merchandise with their logo on it, and the other created a content rich website complete with advertisements.

If you don't have a website yet and you have a paintball team, then I encourage you to seriously consider making one. They are low-cost, low-maintenance outlets for your team, and can provide some extra money for tournaments or sponsorship opportunities.

There are a couple of ways you can create a website for your team. A couple are free, and a couple cost. You'll want to decide which service you should go with based on the level of effort you want to put in creating it, or the amount of money you are willing to spend.

Free Services

The benefit of using a free service is its FREE, which is great for any team on a budget (which most teams are). The only drawback to using a free service such as those below is you get a subdomain URL instead of a professional looking "regular" domain. For example, you get "yourteamsname.blogspot.com" instead of "www.yourteamsname.com." It may not be the biggest deal, but if you are a professional team (or trying to be) you probably want to keep things as professional looking as possible and opt for a full domain name. You can register a domain at a hosting registrar like Godaddy for $9 a year. Just set your newly registered domain as your "preferred domain address" through your Godaddy and Blogger/Wordpress account and your set.

Blogger is a free blog hosting and creation service. Its freakishly easy to setup a site using blogger. Simply click the "Create a Blog" button to get started. If you already have an account with google (through gmail, orkut, or google groups) then click the "sign in first" link at the top. If not, then follow the instructions and create one.

When you get through with setting up the account, you'll then move on to naming your blog. This should be the name of your team. The shorter the easier it will be for others to remember. If the address is unavailable try your teams name with - (hyphens) in between.

Next is selecting the template. Pick the template you like the most (it doesn't have to be perfect). The great thing is you can find tons of free blogger templates for free online with instructions on adding them to your blog. Google free blogger templates to find free templates.

Examples - Team Websites on Blogger:

Fraternity

Blazerz

Wordpress is pretty much the same as Blogger - a blogging service with free hosting. You pick your address and theme, and scour google for a wordpress theme to use with it (if you want).

Examples - Team Websites on Wordpress:

The Paintball Kings

Nova Paintball

Premium Services

Monkhouse Hosting offers three options: Create Site, Create Blog, or Create PhotoGallery. If it is a site you plan on continuously updating then go with the "blog" option, if not then opt for "site." I haven't looked too much into this service, but from the quick glimpse I got it looks to be fairly easy to use.

Squarspace is an $8 a month website hosting and creation service that has been making an impact on how websites are made online. With loads of themes and features, squarspace is deffinetely a service you should consider.

Which Service Should You Use?

It all depends on the amount of time or money you are willing to spend. Most of the premium services cost because they simplify the creation process. However, from what I've seen many paintball teams do just fine using free services such as Blogger and Wordpress. I recommend you give them a try first, and if you don't like blogger or wordpress you can always transfer your site to Squarspace using their "Transfer a blog" feature.

Of course there are plenty of other options out there than than what is discussed above. It'd be interesting to hear what services some of you "established" teams are using. What service does your team use? Let me know in a comment below!

For those that are in the beginning process of getting a team together, then picking a name is just the beginning. Whats next? A website for your paintball team is always a great next step, as it will show potential sponsors you are serious. And the next step? Getting sponsors for your paintball team of course, then its off to kick some ass

This XPSL 7-man novice paintball team is one to make an example of. If you want to see great team branding in action then take note of what this team has done. They made a great logo for their team, one that not only looks awesome, but one that many paintballers could see themselves wearing.

The great thing is that this team isn't all about winning, they are in it to have fun, both in the competetive paintball scene and just recreational play. Its awesome to see teams like this put up a great looking website as well, and give back to the paintball community by writing valuable articles for other paintball teams. If you have a paintball team and ever wanted to learn a little bit more on how to effectively manage your teams roster, then you might want to check out their articles on team building.

Another thing I noticed on their website was they have their own online store powered by CafePress.com. If you want to learn more about how to setup your own team store through CafePress and make money selling your own paintball shirts then leave a comment below and I'll be sure to write a follow up post on it. Its great to see paintball teams take charge of their own brand in innovative ways like this. Good luck to the Brotherhood at your next paintball event.

You can find more on this paintball team at their homepage www.brotherhoodpaintball.com

If you are on a paintball team and would like your team to be featured on Pain4Glory.com then don't hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to give any paintball team more exposure by writing a short article.
