I recently stumbled across this website while checking my google reader account for the latest paintball news. After hitting up a couple pages, I found the site to be a solid read - one worth checking out daily.

Highlights of CatShack Reports

Aside from finding a great deal of news, CatShack Reports is littered with other great content.

If you haven't been to the website, you should check out the Paintball 101 section, its packed full of great articles on paintball tips, strategy, and tactics.

Also worth monitoring is the Hall of Fame section, where you will find regular articles on top/key players in paintball.

Top Paintball Websites

Top 100 Paintball Sites, a website that tracks the popularity of paintball websites, offers a handy little widget that can be posted to your paintball website allowing visitors to see which paintball websites are ranked in the top 15. I just added Pain4Glory to the mix a couple weeks ago, and as of now its ranked just outside the top 100 at 131. The site is Top 100 Paintball Sites, if you have a paintball website you can add it for free and see where you stand online against other paintball websites. Fledgling Scenarios Production Company

Fledgling Scenarios came into being after scenario producer Jim Helton played a series of cheap and terrible paintball scenarios. After recognizing the need for quality scenarios in areas that lacked them, Fledgling Scenarios came into the picture ready to chance the opportunity.

Now with over 7 scenarios under their belt, Fledling Scenarios is growing a name for itself in the paintball scenario community. With a goal of creating valuable fun for scenario players without the greed for money, its easy to see why Fledgling Scenarios has grown so quickly in the area of scenario paintball.

Blast Radius Woodsball Podcast

Paintball has blogs, news websites, paintball forums, chatrooms, paintball youtubes, paintball myspaces, and loads of other paintball specific forms of entertainment online. One new form to recently take off and find its way to paintball is podcasting (internet radio). Podcasts can be downloaded from websites, listened to online, and are known for being a more personal way for communicating with an audience. I for one thing enjoy podcasts because you can listen to them wherever and whenever with an mp3 player. If I feel like catching up on world news I download a podcast for it and listen to it while at work, its as easy as that. You don't have to be near a computer, watching T.V. or anything, all you need are ears to absorb the quality entertainment and info.

There are currently only two paintball podcasts that I know of, and both happen to be phenomenal. You'll hear one on one interviews with key figures in paintball, current news, debates, discussions, and general talk about playing. A recent paintball podcast done by Blast Radius Woodsball covered an interview with a couple of players from Australia who are traveling the US for a 6 week scenario/woodsball adventure. I don't know about you but going on a 6 week vacation just to play paintball is something I dream of.

The Art of Woodsball

For paintball, everything started in the woods, and right now despite the popularity of speedball, We are seeing a comeback with woodsball. Woodsball is just something that speedball will never be, and it appeals to what I believe to be a broader base of players.

Behind this comeback are content rich woodsball themed websites, and one of the best ones to recently come out the works is TheArtofWoodsball.com. If you havent been there and you are a woodsball fan, say hello to your next daily stop, because this website covers a whole slew of woodsball topics that many others have failed to touch.

Everything from strategy, to gear, to setting up a team, and even a field building guide can be found here. These guides are in depth and very well written, you'll probably want to print them off for easy reference.

If you are a woodsball fan, scenario junkie, or even a field owner, I guarantee you will find something valuable there, whether it be in one of the many guides or their paintball forum. After using it you'll probably wonder why you put up with all the flaming speedballers on PbNation for so long.
