Not too long ago I passed off this unique paintball loader like many paintball players because of its looks. Now that I know better, I've come to realize yet again that you cannot judge the quality of something by its appearance.

My interest in this product sparked while I was at Oklahoma D-Day where I witnessed players spilling cash in the Pinokio booth. I decided to look into it when I got home, and you know what?

Now I own one.

It wasn't an easy decision believe me, but of course nothing I buy ever is. It took me a couple of years researching and buying every other paintball gun before I finally landed on my ICE Epic, which is the only gun I will shoot now. The funny thing is, every time I was about to buy a paintball gun, the decision was between the Epic and another cooler looking paintball gun.

It's interesting how we buy things because of their looks.

After doing research on the Pinokio loader I didn't just find the best loader for my style, I found the BEST loader for all types of paintballers.

Now that I own one I can not understand why anyone would buy a Dye Rotor ($159) or any other paintball loader on the market over a Pinokio. The Pinokio is 2 (count 'em TWO) fast and consistent loaders in one and it is STILL cheaper than most high end loaders on the market!

I guess it goes back to the fact that most players buy looks over performance and versatility.

This loader retails for $149.95 plus shipping online, but right now you can skip out on shipping and grab it for a flat price of $149.95 on eBay, which is where I got mine.

You will not regret buying one, trust me. The Pinokio is worth selling your current hopper to get. Its fast, practical, consistent, and great for all styles of play.

It quite possibly is the goofiest paintball hopper available for sale today, but if you put all that aside, the pinokio hopper is nothing short of amazing.

"You gotta have balls to rock a pinokio." Nothing could me more true, with 140, 250 and 400 round attachments, this loader has no problem meeting the needs of today's average paintballer that plays woods and speedball alike.

Weighing in at at 1lb with the standard 140 round attachment, and feeding at over 30 balls per second, the pinokio paintball hopper was designed to perform without slowing you down.

The Pinokio retails for $149.95, which is a fair price considering you are essentially getting 3 high performance paintball hoppers in one. Now some people are fine with their Dye Rotor because 200 rounds is all they need, but for those out there that need more more more, then the Pinokio paintball hopper is for you.

"Best" is always a matter of opinion, except for when it comes to Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris will always be the best. Chuck Norris can squeeze orange juice out of a banana, and he can divide by zero... anyway here are some paintball hoppers that would be great for pump guns..

Gravity fed paintball hoppers can be great, but sometimes paint can get jammed, and need a shake to get it feeding again. If you want a hopper that will keep the paint flowing, without you having to shake your gun like a maraca, below are a couple of motorized loaders that will do the job!

Paintball players and field owners alike will want to check out Archon's new gravity fed paintball hopper.

This truly is an innovative hopper design. Sometimes in life we forget how important the simple things are, and it seems in paintball we've been so caught up with electronic hoppers that we forgot about old fashioned gravity hoppers. I'm a fan of the simple things, the fewer the parts the fewer problems IMHO. Its good to see someone finally take a step back and try to re-invent the common 200 round gravity hopper. Its when we jump too far ahead that we overlook simple innovations like this.

Feeding at 11.6 balls per second the Tacamo paintball hopper is a promising cheap alternative to an electric hopper. If you are shooting a Tippmann or any other mechanical paintball gun you might want to forget about buying batteries and throw down some money for one of these babies. Even so, this hopper would make a great backup, especially when you have one of those "nothing-I-have-that-is-electronic-will-work" moments. Who ever thought a gravity feed hopper could ever feed so fast? Considering that my 9vlt revy feeds at 8-9 bps, 11.6 bps with just gravity is impressive.
