How to Make a Paintball Bazooka Grenade Launcher

Make a paintball bazooka with parts you can find at a hardware store. Use it to launch nerf vortex rockets, paintball grenades, or a mass-ton of paintballs.

The parts you will need to make your own paintball bazooka are listed below. You can find most of these parts for cheap at PlumberSurplus.com.

2'' x 15'' PVC Pipe
2'' PVC Tee
2'' PVC Cap
2'' PVC Reducting Bushing
3 1/4 Short Nipple
3 1/4'' Steel 90 Degree Elbow
3 1/4'' x 5'' Steel Nipple
3 1/4'' Ball Valve
3 Reducer Bushings (3 1/4 to 1/2 and 1/2 to 1/8)
PVC Cleaner and Cement
Teflon Tape
Co2 ASA (Bottomline)

As far as ammo goes, if you plan to play in paintball scenarios with your freshly made paintball bazooka, then you'll need to get some pocket Nerf vortex footballs (which is what most fields ONLY allow).

For the stealthy paintballer, making a paintball silencer is a must. Here's how to make a paintball silencer using PVC piping and other materials.

All you will need to make your own homemade silencer is 3/4ths inch PVC piping, a drill, PVC primer and cement, duct tape, and two couplers. When your done making this, why not make a couple homemade paintball grenades.

How to Make a Homemade Paintball Caddy

Why spend $40 bucks on a paintball caddy when you can make your own for a fraction of the cost.

There are a couple of ways you can make one, each involve different containers you can find in just about any store, and all are extremely easy (no cutting or gluing).

These are just some of the simpler ways to make a paintball caddy, there are some more complex ideas floating around you can fiddle if you want. One clever idea involves a laundry soap container that has a nozzle with a slit in it. The caddy sits upside down, and when you want to fill a pod you slide the plastic that is blocking the paintballs in the nozzle out to allow paintballs to flow freely. When you want it to stop, you slide the plastic back through the nozzle. Easy as pie.

How to Make Homemade Paintball Air Bunkers

If your short on money, or have time to kill, here's an easy way to make some homemade airball bunkers you can throw up in your backyard for a makeshift paintball field.

What materials do you need to craft a homemade air bunker? A couple of trash bags, a vinyl bag you can stuff them in, and a cover you can use for the bunker itself. Now you probably are thinking, trash bags won't hold air, how can they work? Well, its pretty obvious they won't hold air forever, but they should hold up for a couple of weeks, if not a month or two before you have to huff them back up.

How to Convert a Paintball Gun Into a High Powered Nerf Gun

Nerf guns can only shoot so hard, but with this mod you'll be able to blast your friends with high powered Nerf dart goodness.

This particular mod converts a BE Blade pump paintball gun into a Nerf gun, and is fairly simple to do. Props to Yakman for creating this tutorial. For the full tutorial visit http://www.yakman.i8.com/paintball.htm.

Now what would really be impressive would be if a nerf gun could be modified into a paintball gun. Has it been done before? I know there are loads of people out there that transform their nerf guns into some pretty interesting creations, like this Halo Nerf Gun for example... all in due time I guess.

There are two ways to build your own paintball gun, each of which take a certain level of skill and technical know how.

If you are very set on building a paintball gun, you'll stop at nothing to get the process started, let alone finish it. You can determine which method to building a paintball gun is more to your liking below.

Build a Paintball Gun Using Pre-Existing Parts - This is the easiest way to make a paintball gun. You simply choose the gun to your liking, one that is extremely customizable and offers many aftermarket parts, and assemble them together to make the paintball gun of your dreams. Tippmanns and Spyders, as well as some electronic paintball guns have many aftermarket upgrades that make possibilities limitless. Just buy the aftermarket parts you want, and grab the body and grip needed and you have a fully customized paintball gun that you built on your own.

Build a Paintball Gun Using Tools and Equipment - Lathes is the first thing that comes to mind. More importantly, lathes that can mill out a body for your custom paintball gun, as well as other oddball parts. This is the most expensive route you can take, as it requires not just experience but raw blocks of metal alloys and expensive machinery. If you have the talent then you can probably do it. If you have a friend that has the equipment, and better yet you know how to operate it, then you are one-third of the way there.

Two ways to build a paintball gun; either use parts that are already made and buy what you need, or machine everything out of metal alloys of your choice. The second option is the most difficult, while the easiest option is to buy the parts you need for a an already highly customizable paintball gun.

Types of Paintball Guns You Can Make

If you ever have played paintball, you know it is addicting, and chances are you are here reading about how to make your own paintball gun because you need to satisfy the ever-lasting craving many tinkerers get when they jump into the sport of paintball.

Alright, so here goes. Of all of the ways to make a homemade paintball gun, below are a few alternatives.

Blowgun Paintball Guns - Of all of the types of homemade paintball guns you can make, these are the simplest. All you need is a tube that fits the .68 caliber size of a paintball, one that sizes to it perfectly. Once you have a tube all you need to do is pop the paintball in the end you are going to be blowing into, and send a quick burst of air down it by exhaling your lungs.

Homemade Air Paintball Guns - These are the next simplest paintball guns you can make. You can find plenty of tutorials on the internet showing how to make one of these. All they consist of is a hand pump to pressurize a plastic bottle and a release valve to expel the air into the pvc piping/barrel where the loaded paintball is.

PVC Paintball Guns - Perhaps one of the most dangerous alternatives you could ever go with. PVC isn't exactly pressure tested, nor is it recommended you use it at such a high PSI. Horror stories include cases where shrapnel from pvc guns that exploded severed fingers. Most PVC paintball guns use air compressors to power and pressurize them, so it is imperative that you know what you are doing, and exercise great caution when building and using one of these. Tutorials can be found online, but they are very vague.

How to Make Homemade Paintballs

Instead of wasting your time trying to make homemade paintballs that can only be able to shoot once (that is... if they even leave your barrel), make some homemade reusable paintballs, those that are somewhat similar to Reballs.

While these do not rival the quality of a a true reusable paintball like the Reball, they work well enough and offer paintballers a cheap and easy alternative.

As you can see the process is simple, just grab some Model Magic at your local hobby store or online and start rolling some paintball sized balls. If you are really motivated you can even make your own plaster of paris paintball mold using bottle caps. Throw some model magic into the mold and you have a perfectly round paintball. Clever eh?

Some of the reactions I've read say they actually work great and feel the same as a reball when hit by one, the only drawback is they lose their shape after a while and don't always feed.

Making homemade paintballs is a retarded idea, why? It is a waste of time to sit around and make something that will only be shot once, who has that kind of time? I can't imagine making 2000 paintballs or so without the help of a machine, and I don't know about you, but I do not have a spare $100,000 to spend on a paintball manufacturing assembly line. Save yourself the time and take another approach, make homemade paintballs you can reuse, its the best way to get the most out of the time spent making them.
