Great protection, had 3 bounce-offs in the first game I played. Might be a little bulky in the arms for some people. I went with the L/XL and it fits me fine, I weigh 165 pounds 5'9".
Most of the reviews I've read on this chest protector note that the arms are bulky. While this may be true, few other chest protectors out there offer arm protection. Bottom line is, you could always buy a chest protector like the ones empire and proto are making that only over the chest, or you could get this one that offers bonus protection. Its all a matter of preference.
